The OS Hotel, a new boutique hotel in the os1515 Downtown development in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, officially opened its doors on May 9. With 32 rooms, the hotel is set in a dynamic area with a rich history and offers immediate access to local shops, restaurants, and community spaces.
The hotel is a significant feature of the os1515 Downtown project, a mixed-use development combining the charm of the city’s past with a vision for its future. The development currently includes CRAVE Food Hall, a unique indoor/outdoor venue offering a variety of chef-driven food concepts, and The Gallery, a sizable indoor event space. A collection of modern two-bedroom condominiums, Lofts1515, is the next anticipated addition to the development.
The OS Hotel draws its inspiration from the historic Ocean Springs Hotel of 1853, which established the town as a destination for rest and rejuvenation. The new hotel aims to continue this legacy of hospitality in the modern day. It offers a range of accommodations, including Standard and Deluxe King or Double Queen rooms, each furnished with in-room workspaces to cater to both business and leisure travelers.
As the only hotel in downtown Ocean Springs with full ADA accessibility, it provides rooms for hearing-impaired and mobility-challenged guests and elevator access throughout the property. Additional amenities include contactless check-in, free Wi-Fi and parking, pet-friendly accommodations, and a choice of courtyard or city views.
MMI Hotel Group manages the hotel’s day-to-day operations.
OS Hotel is at 1555 Government Street, Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39564. It marks a significant addition to the region’s hospitality offerings, and additional amenities and facilities are planned for the future as part of the os1515 Downtown development.
