Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Zahara, has become the third of their children to legally drop her father’s last name.
Zahara, 21, now officially goes by Zahara Marley Jolie, dropping the Pitt from her legal full name, according to court documents.

Pitt and Jolie, who met while filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004, share six children: Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and 18-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The Hollywood icons became dating in 2005 before tying the knot in 2014 and splitting two years later.
Their divorce was finalized in December 2024, though their breakup continues to be tumultuous, with their children increasingly distancing themselves from Pitt.
Shiloh filed to remove Pitt from her name in 2024 following her 18th birthday, and Vivienne has filed to change her name to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie this past July, also since turning 18.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Maddox’s name change to remove Pitt had officially been approved.
A source previously told People that Pitt was “aware and upset” by his children’s choices to change their names.
“The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad,” they claimed. “He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”
This comes 10 years after an alleged altercation between Pitt and his family on a private jet from France to Los Angeles in 2016.
In court documents, after she filed for divorce, Jolie claimed Pitt subjected her and their children to physical and emotional abuse during the flight, which Pitt denied. Pitt was later investigated and cleared of the claims.
Court filings made in 2024 saw Jolie’s lawyers allege Pitt had a “history of physical abuse” towards Jolie that began before the 2016 flight.
The lawyer claimed the plane incident was “the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well,” with Jolie alleging this sparked her decision to file for divorce.
Pitt has repeatedly denied Jolie’s claims.
The former couple also found themselves locked in a nasty legal dispute over their French winery, Château Miraval.
Jolie sold her half of the business in October 2021 after discussions for Pitt to buy her out allegedly fell through.
Pitt then sued Jolie in 2022, accusing her of violating their agreement to not sell their part in the winter without the other’s approval.
Jolie then filed a countersuit, claiming Pitt was attempting to secretly take control of the business and accusing him of “waging a vindictive war against” her since she filed for divorce.
