The first photo showed Beth energetically walking with Camilla, while the second featured a cute moment between the pup and Charles. Along with another picture of Camilla and Beth, the video in the post showed Beth adorably participating in a special event.
Fans understood what the royal couple must be going through as they mourned the death of their dear pet.
One wrote, “Condolences. Always a very sad time. The price we pay for the sustaining love and companionship our animals give us.”
“Beth will always be remembered for the joy she brought to the Queen and so many others,” said another, while a third commented, “So sorry to hear about Beth. She brought so much happiness and comfort. Her memory will always be cherished.”
Camilla adopted Beth from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in 2011, adding another Jack Russell terrier from the organization named Bluebell to their family the next year.
The Queen became patron of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home years ago and she even featured in an episode of For the Love of Dogs, a docuseries that showcases the animal welfare center.
