Budweiser is celebrating the Fourth of July by buying a round for America.
That’s right, for the 250th Independence Day, the company is giving away free beer.
Americans 21 and older can claim their free beverage by visiting us.budweiser.com/americatab. Users enter information and, in turn, receive a $6 digital gift card to purchase a 12-ounce draught beer with.
“From backyard barbecues and summer concerts to ballgames and holiday weekends, Budweiser has been part of the moments that bring Americans together for the last 150 years,” the company shared in a press release. “Now, as the country celebrates its 250th birthday, Budweiser is saying thank you with a beer on them.”
Americans are eligible to earn a gift card between June 29 and July 5, while supplies last.
“For years, Budweiser has shown up for the moments that bring Americans together. This summer, as America celebrates its 250th birthday, we wanted to do more than mark an anniversary; we wanted to honor the people who make those moments possible,” ToddAllen, SVP of Marketing for Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch, said.
He continued, “Covering America’s tab is our way of turning gratitude into action: to thank the hardworking people who’ve made Budweiser part of everyday life, and to give them a chance to share a beer, reconnect and celebrate the resilience and spirit that have defined this country for generations.”
Additionally, Budweiser is celebrating the Fourth of July with the “American Beers for American Heroes” program, which helps Fold of Honor. A percentage of the company’s profit, up to $1.5 million, will be donated to the organization. The nonprofit aims to provide educational scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
