WNBA and Iowa Hawkeye phenom Caitlin Clark famously made friends with global superstar Taylor Swift at the AFC Divisional Round playoff game back in January when Clark’s NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs, defeated the Houston Texans to advance to the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills.
Swift’s boyfriend, of course, is Chiefs 10-time Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce. In a recent interview with USA Today, Clark was asked if fans can expect to see Swift and Kelce at an Indiana Fever game this season — Clark being the starting point guard for the Fever.
Clark laughed and said that she hopes they will, but she of course doesn’t actually know for sure. But the hooper did give a little insight into what T&T are up to right now.
“I feel like they’re in a nice in-vacation mode right now, so I hope they enjoy a nice little break out of the spotlight. But I’m sure they’ll be cheering for the Fever either way,” said Clark.

Indeed, Swift and Kelce have kept a low profile since the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in February. Swift’s Instagram has been quiet since late 2024, and there haven’t been many public sightings of them.
The two were spotted in New York City in March and later seen in Philadelphia for Mother’s Day. Philadelphia is the home of Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, who is a retired Eagles center. He and his wife, Kylie, welcomed their fourth daughter in March 2025.
As for Clark, her sophomore season for the Fever is off to a good start. The team is 2-1, and their loss was only by one point. The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is averaging 19 points, nine assists, six rebounds and two steals per game so far.

The Fever’s next game is Saturday, May 24, at home against the New York Liberty. The Fever were 1-3 against the Liberty last season, so they are probably looking for a little revenge this time around.
