Calgary is hosting a massive career and hiring fair this fall

9 September 20253 Mins Read

Getting a job in this economy just got a whole lot easier.

A massive career fair and training expo is coming to Calgary this Sept. 24 and Nov. 27. Hosted by Career Fair Canada, it’ll be an excellent opportunity to get in front of hiring managers, build meaningful rapport and apply for open roles with employment exhibitors.

This hiring fair is going to be truly mammoth as it’s held at the BMO Centre at the Stampede grounds. BMO Centre is the largest convention centre in Western Canada, weighing in at a whopping 500,000 sq. ft.

You’ll have access to dozens of exhibitors, including some of the province’s top employers, like the Government of Alberta, Calgary Police Service, Canadian Blood Services, International Alliance Group and Bow Valley College.

While you’re not guaranteed to leave with a job offer, the fair will provide you with the next best thing: the opportunity to pitch your resumé to potential employers and hear more about the skills recruiters are looking for.

What to expect

Over the past few years, Alberta’s provincial unemployment rate has trended higher than the federal average. With new technologies and challenges entering the workforce, the hiring process can feel more overwhelming than ever.

Career Fair Canada is a solution to these troubles. As veterans in hosting and organizing recruitment events, they’ve also been one of Canada’s most trusted partners for employers, job-seekers and training institutions for over 30 years.

On Sept. 24 and Nov. 27 in Calgary, Career Fair Canada will hold a one-day, intensive networking event that will connect employers and recruiters with qualified applicants.

For students and job-seekers alike, it’ll be a great chance to set yourself apart from other candidates and get directly connected with your next dream employer.

Included exhibitors

The Calgary Career Fair and Training Expo will feature a number of employment exhibitors, with the following currently confirmed:

  • Alberta College of Massage Therapy
  • Bow Valley College
  • Calgary Catholic Immigration Society
  • Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association
  • Calgary Police Service
  • Canadian Blood Services
  • CBI Health
  • City Electric Supply
  • CLI College of Business, Health & Technology
  • Epic Group
  • Government of Alberta
  • HMCS Tecumseh
  • International Alliance Group
  • JBS Food Canada ULC
  • KINEA Solutions
  • MCG Career College Inc.
  • Tire Chalet
  • Wingstop Canada

With two events taking place this September and November 2025 in Calgary, you’ll have more than one opportunity to put your name out to potential employers.

So suit up, shine your shoes, and don’t forget to bring your resumé. Your new job awaits.

When: Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: BMO Centre — 1912 Flores Ladue Parade SE
Cost: Free
