Canada’s biggest South Asian festival is back in Ontario and it’s totally free

16 July 20252 Mins Read

Get ready, Mississauga: It’s back! Celebration Square transforms into a vibrant South Asian extravaganza as the #BollywoodMonster Mashup returns for its annual two-day spectacle on Friday, July  25 (from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and Saturday, July  26, 2025 (from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.).

Canada’s largest Bollywood festival promises a thrilling mix of music, dance, food and culture — all with free admission and parking — right in the heart of the city.

There’s a treat around every corner, and it all starts with star-studded performances from international Bollywood singers, classical and contemporary dancers, Sufi musicians, Bhangra troupes, Kollywood and Indo-Caribbean acts, and more.

And of course, the festival would be incomplete without The #BollywoodMonster Orchestra, who will play electrifying mashups blending Bollywood hits with disco and pop anthems.

With over 30 food and beverage vendors, the party turns into a Monster Food Festival, too, dishing out everything from spiced samosas and dosas to biryanis, kebabs, sweets and refreshing gol gappas. It’s a mouthwatering journey across South Asia — perfectly paired with the vibrant performances.

And when you need a break from the entertainment and food — is that possible?! — you can take a trip down to the Bollywood Monster Bazaar and browse apparel, jewellery, décor, handicrafts and more, where tradition is blended with trending desi chic.

Explore the cultural tapestry that makes #BollywoodMonster Mashup a living showcase of South Asian heritage intersecting with Canadian multiculturalism. With live performances, culinary highlights and community-driven spirit, it’s poised to be the ultimate summer experience in Mississauga.

Whether you’re dancing under the lights, sampling global flavours or simply enjoying the festivities, this is the kind of weekend that defines the GTA city’s summer scene.
