It’s a great time to be a Belieber. Canada’s forever heartthrob, Justin Bieber is dropping a new album, set to release this Friday, and fans can believe it.
The surprise comes less than two months after Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, SWAG. On Thursday, the “Daisies” singer broke the news on his social media with a simple message: “swag II midnight tonight.”
SWAG II
It’s only been a few hours since his initial announcement, but Bieber has shared a series of posts on Instagram, featuring billboard ads and wall projections around the world.
Visually, the album takes a sharp turn from its predecessor. Instead of dark and moody tones, SWAG ll is bright, pink and features wife Hailey Bieber and son Jack.
No tracklist has been revealed yet, leaving fans to wonder about possible features and what direction the music will take.
But if the comment sections are any indication, Beliebers are more than ready and, as always, they’ve got plenty to say.
Online reaction
“2 ALBUMS WITHIN THE SPAN OF 2 MONTHS, OMGGG 🥹,” shares one Instagram user.
“Wow two versions of the album? Are we in paradise? ❤️,” shares another.
And it doesn’t end there.

And to top it all off, Justin Bieber is releasing SWAG II-inspired SKYLRK merch to celebrate.
I’ve been a JB fan since his “One Less Lonely Girl” days, so I am just as eager to see what the artist has in store for us. My guess? SWAG II could be a reimagining of SWAG, same songs with a new spin, maybe more features, and a different vibe. Kehlani and SZA? I hope so!
Guess we’ll all be staying up until midnight to see what he’s got in store for us.
