Candace Cameron Bure isn’t one to make her husband suffer through [un]comfortable” moments while watching her film work.
The Full House alum, 48, recently admitted to “fast-forward[ing]” through certain scenes whenever she and her husband, Valeri Bure, sit down for a viewing of her projects—a habit shared by her fellow Great American Family star, Danica McKellar.

The women chatted with Fox News as they kicked off the first-ever Great American Family Christmas Festival, where the Nick at Nite alum opened up about the impact romantic scenes can have on her relationship with the former pro hockey player.
“I don’t think it’s as comfortable for anybody—maybe if you’re an actor married to another actor—it’s just never comfortable to watch your spouse in the arms of someone, even though it’s a peck or a kiss or anything,” Cameron Bure admitted.
While he has been “so supportive [and] proud” of her career, he’s not exactly gung ho about watching her be intimate with another man—and she “[doesn’t] want to put [him] through that,” either.

“We have those honest conversations…we kind of worked through those feelings to a place where we both feel good and supported through it,” she added. Still, she’s quick to grab the remote and “fast-forward” when that kind of scene comes on screen.
McKellar, who is married to an attorney named Scott Sveslosky, has one other trick up her sleeve when it comes to protecting her spouse, sometimes opting to distract him instead with a kiss.
