Chaos Theory’ Renewed for Season 4 at Netflix; Returning in November 2025

It’s official: Jurassic World: Chaos Theory has been renewed for a fourth season and is set to be released in November 2025.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is a Netflix Original animated series produced by DreamWorks Animation Television and Amblin Entertainment, and the direct sequel to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

The series takes place six years after the events of Camp Cretaceous, and runs parallel to the events of the film Jurassic World: Dominion. The Nublar Six have become world-famous for their survival on Isla Nublar and their attempts to move on with their lives. However, after the suspicious death of a close friend, the remaining members of the Nublar Six find themselves in grave danger and must uncover a conspiracy of murder and dinosaur trafficking.

When is Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 4 coming to Netflix?

Earlier this year, we published an article stating that the show is almost certainly set to return for a fourth season, although official confirmation about renewals for kids’ animation titles is often only announced shortly before its release.

Netflix has officially confirmed that Jurassic World: Chaos Theory will be released worldwide on November 20th, 2025. The announcement came alongside an animation slate reveal for the remainder of 2025, which includes titles like In Your Dreams, The Twits, Sesame Street, The Creature Cases season 6, and an all-new Dr. Seuss series.

Is Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 4 the final season?

At the time of writing this article, there is no language used by Netflix to suggest that season 4 is the last of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. However, given where the story lines up with the film Jurassic World: Dominion, we’re leaning on the story of Chaos Theory to end with season 4.

Will the Jurassic World animated series continue?

So far, we’ve had Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory. Both series ran parallel to the events of Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, and Dominion.

With the brand-new film Jurassic World: Rebirth about to be released in theaters, this begs the question of whether we’ll see more of the Camp Cretaceous crew in the near future.

Considering there are more stories to be told in the Jurassic World franchise, it would make sense to continue the story of the Camp Cretaceous crew. Whether that means Chaos Theory continues or a brand-new series is created remains to be seen.

We remain hopeful there will be more beyond Chaos Theory season 4.
