“The wait is OVER! It’s wedding Wednesday,” she declared in a snap of herself in a wedding gown while sitting beside Patrick Flueger, who plays her onscreen fiancé, Adam Ruzek.

“Burzek ties the knot WEDNESDAY!” Squerciati reiterated in a second segment featuring a selfie with Flueger and Toya Turner (Kiana Cook).

However, in a third segment, the actress, 41, featured a personal photo. The shot showed her infant son, whose name has not been publicly shared, wearing sunglasses while sitting in a high chair. A speech bubble coming from her baby boy read, “New highchair. New dis?”

On New Year’s Eve 2024, Squerciati shocked fans with a surprise birth announcement.

“2024 was a BIG year for me, literally,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself in a bikini with an obvious baby bump. “I thought I handled being a pregnant working mom with grace—swipe to see my daughter’s very different take.”

Squerciati added, “PS. THIS was the real reason I wasn’t in the first two episodes of #ChicagoPD. Have a great NYE, friends!”

In addition to her son, the actress and her husband have a daughter, born in May 2017.
