Mondays hit everyone hard, including the cast of Chicago PD—and especially when there’s no new episode airing this week.
While the members of Intelligence are currently enjoying a summer hiatus from filming—they’re traveling, attending fashion shows and sharing mouthwatering dinners together—the One Chicago Instagram account was feeling the Monday blues… and perfectly captured the feeling with a photo.

In the photo, credited to Marina Squerciati (who plays Kim Burgess), the actress can be seen lifeless, gazing into the distance, as her co-stars Patrick John Flueger (Adam Ruzek) and LaRoyce Hawkins (Kevin Atwater) lifted her up. As they held onto their co-star, they could be seen exchanging concerned looks.

Wolf Entertainment, the production company behind the Dick Wolf shows, chimed in, “Monday mood for sure.”
“ON POINT🙌” one fan wrote in the comments.
Chi-hards jumped in to compliment the original trio with comments such as “These three are the best since day one 💙💙💙” “Cannot love them more!!! BFF’s…♥️♥️♥️” and “My favs 😍😍😍.”
Someone else joked of an upcoming storyline featuring Burgess and Ruzek: “She just realized she is getting married.”
Another person complained that they have to wait an additional week for new episodes, stating, “No bc we gotta 9 days for one chicago to come back lol.”
The next Chicago PD installment airs on May 7, while Season 12 will conclude with the aforementioned wedding on May 21 on NBC.
