Chipotle Is Giving Away Over $1 Million Worth of Free Food Starting August 18

Chipotle is giving away more than $1 million in free food starting Tuesday, Aug. 18!

The chain is bringing back its Chipotle IQ game, giving fans the chance to win free food, Chipotle Rewards points, and other prizes.

Here’s everything to know about the promotion and how to play before the offer ends.

How to get free food from Chipotle

Starting Aug. 18, Chipotle will give away more than $1 million in prizes through the Chipotle IQ game, including buy-one-get-one entrée codes, free Cilantro Lime Sauce, free Queso Blanco, Build Your Own Family Meals, exclusive card games, and more.

The game kicks off at 9 a.m. ET on Aug. 18. Each hour, the first 8,000 players to answer five questions correctly will win a prize. Chipotle is giving away 5,000 buy-one-get-one entrée offers, 1,500 free Cilantro Lime Sauce offers, and 1,500 free Queso Blanco offers every hour.

Players who score a perfect 5 out of 5 could also be randomly selected to receive one of 53 Silver Tickets, each featuring a bonus question. Answer it correctly, and you could win free Chipotle burritos for a year!

And even if you don’t win free food, you can still score Chipotle Rewards points. The chain is giving away 5 million points each day during the promotion.

Over the past few months, Chipotle has been testing a brand-new menu item at select locations in California: crispy chicken.

The new protein features crispy breaded chicken with a crunchy coating and juicy interior and can be added to burritos, tacos, salads or bowls.

According to a Chipotle advertisement, the crispy chicken is also free of preservatives, gluten or anything artificial.

For now, fans will have to wait and see whether the new crispy chicken expands to more Chipotle locations.
