Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has entered into an agreement with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma to add four Choctaw Casinos & Resorts properties, totaling nearly 2,000 rooms, to its portfolio.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced a multi-hotel agreement with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, bringing four Choctaw Casinos & Resorts properties into the Wyndham portfolio. The arrangement includes nearly 2,000 rooms and covers several locations in Oklahoma.
Under the agreement, Choctaw Casino & Resort–Durant, the flagship property, will become part of the Wyndham Grand portfolio. Three additional properties—Choctaw Landing Casino & Resort–Hochatown, Choctaw Casino & Resort–Pocola, and Choctaw Casino & Resort–Grant—will join the Trademark Collection by Wyndham. The Choctaw Nation will retain ownership and management of all four resorts.
The Choctaw Casino & Resort–Durant is located approximately 90 minutes north of Dallas and features more than 1,600 rooms and suites across multiple hotel towers. The property includes a gaming floor with over 7,400 slot machines, 100 table games, and a poker room. Additional amenities at the Durant resort include a 3,000-seat entertainment venue, more than 40 restaurants, bars, and lounges, six retail shops, a full-service spa, multiple pools, bowling lanes, arcade games, a cinema, and 100,000 square feet of conference and event space.
The three other properties—Hochatown, Pocola, and Grant—will be incorporated into Wyndham’s Trademark Collection, which consists of independent hotels in gaming and entertainment destinations.
According to research from the American Gaming Association, over half of Americans participated in gaming in 2024, with tribal gaming generating $43.9 billion in revenue nationwide that year. Oklahoma was identified as one of the fastest-growing gaming markets in the United States.
All four Choctaw Casinos & Resorts properties will be available through Wyndham’s booking channels in the coming weeks. The properties will also participate in Wyndham’s loyalty and business travel programs.
The agreement is part of Wyndham’s strategy to expand its upscale and lifestyle offerings in regional gaming destinations. The Choctaw Nation sponsors major sports teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and hosts World Series of Poker tournaments at its Durant property.
No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed. The timeline for the rollout of the properties on Wyndham’s platforms was stated as occurring over the coming weeks.
