The Sun Rose West Hollywood – the newly reborn 149-room property redefining culture-driven luxury in the heart of the Sunset Strip – is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Saputo as General Manager. A hospitality leader with more than 22 years of luxury hotel and resort experience, Saputo will oversee all aspects of the property’s operations, including its 149 guestrooms and 37 suites, signature spa, rooftop restaurant and pool, and its live-music venue, Live at the Sun Rose, that plays host to entertainment legends and boundary-pushing new voices. Saputo will also work closely with Adam Blackstone, the multihyphenate artist and The Sun Rose West Hollywood’s newly appointed Creative Director, to introduce of-the-moment experiences, partnerships, and amenities that reflect the hotel’s new identity and iconic locale.

For the majority of his career, Saputo has held leadership positions with globally recognized brands such as Rosewood Hotels & Resorts; Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts; Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts; Fairmont Hotels & Resorts; InterContinental Hotels & Resorts; and select five-star independent properties. His operational expertise spans Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Private Club, HOA, and Beach & Pool divisions. Throughout his tenure, he has been recognized for delivering refined guest experiences, driving ADR and RevPAR growth, and leading through both strategic vision and hands-on execution.

No stranger to Los Angeles and the California luxury market, Saputo previously served as Resort Manager at the famed Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito; Director of Operations at Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara; General Manager at Las Alcobas, Napa Valley, a Luxury Collection Resort; Hotel Manager at Carneros Resort and Spa; Director of Rooms at Ojai Valley Inn; and Assistant General Manager, Villas, at The Resort at Pelican Hill.

“I’ve spent much of my career in California, and it is a region I remain deeply connected to, both professionally and personally,” says Saputo. “Joining The Sun Rose West Hollywood is a tremendous opportunity to lead an exceptional team at a one-of-a-kind address – the former site of West Hollywood’s iconic House of Blues. I look forward to helping usher in this new era of culture-driven luxury and further elevating the guest experience, from introducing new and innovative programming to expanding our slate of live music and cultural events.”

Saputo attended Arizona State University, where he studied Tourism Development and Management. Outside of the office, he can be found golfing or spending time with his beloved Saint Bernard Doodle, Senna, who also enjoys greeting guests around The Sun Rose West Hollywood.
