Club Med has announced plans to develop a new resort in Mont-Tremblant, Canada, set to open in December 2028, marking its second location in the country.
Club Med has announced plans to expand its presence in Canada by developing a new resort in Mont-Tremblant. The resort, named Club Med Tremblant, is scheduled to open in December 2028. This development follows the opening of Club Med Québec Charlevoix in 2021 and represents a strategic move to enhance the company’s footprint in North America.
The new resort will be located in the Laurentians, a popular four-season destination known for its skiing and natural surroundings. Club Med Tremblant will offer a ski-in/ski-out experience, with daily lift tickets included for guests. The resort will also feature gourmet dining options, age-specific kids’ clubs, and a variety of summer activities, including hiking and water sports. Additionally, wellness experiences, including a spa, will be available.
The project is a collaboration between Club Med, Alderan, and Station Mont-Tremblant. Club Med will operate the resort under a long-term lease and serve as the Delegated Project Manager, overseeing the design, planning, and execution. The agreement includes a partnership with Station Mont-Tremblant to enhance ski school offerings and improve mountain amenities.
Club Med Tremblant aims to integrate responsibly into the local environment, with plans to achieve LEED certification and Green Globe operational certification. The development is expected to support Mont-Tremblant’s tourism industry, which attracts over 3 million visitors annually.
This expansion is part of Club Med’s broader strategy to grow its North American presence. The company aims to position Club Med Tremblant as a flagship ski destination in the region, contributing to economic and tourism growth in Mont-Tremblant.
