Coca-Cola Debuts Three New Limited-Edition Flavors That Sound Like the Perfect Summer Treat

Coca-Cola will always be known for its regular supply of iconic soda flavors, be it a bottle of classic Coke or a refreshing can of Cherry or Vanilla Coke.

As delicious as the brand’s signature flavors are on their own, Coke is giving fans even more reason to celebrate with the debut of three new soda flavors inspired by one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

As audiences look ahead to the release of Illumination’s upcoming Minions & Monsters, Coca-Cola is adding three new flavors to its Freestyle Machines across the country.

Found exclusively at AMC theaters, the new lineup of Minions-inspired flavors specifically includes:

• Sprite Bello Yello: taken from the Minions’ signature greeting, the Bello Yello features a blend of Sprite Lemonade and Sprite Pineapple, delivering a refreshing tropical soda unlike ant other.
• Minute Maid Goomi Green: inspired by Minions & Monsters’ central antagonist, Goomi Green features a mix of Minute Maid Limeade, Sprite Vanilla and Mello Yello Citrus Twist for the ultimate tangy beverage.
• Fanta Irene Infusion: named for a standout character in the film, the Infusion offers a mix of Fanta Orange and Fanta Fruit Punch, perfect for all those who love a tropical-inspired soda to accompany their movie-going experience.

As with most of Coca-Cola’s Freestyle machines, the new flavors are available in both standard and zero-sugar varieties. And if the early reaction online has been any indication, fans might find themselves stocking up on the limited-edition soda flavors while they’re still in theaters.

“Ok I need to head to one of these now,” said one fan.

“The way I’ll be going in the cinema just for banana sprite 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️💨,” shared another user.

Arriving in theaters on July 1, Minions & Monsters serves as the third installment in the Minions franchise and the seventh entry in the overall Despicable Me series. The film’s cast includes Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Allison Janney, Zoey Deutch and Phil LaMarr, among others.
