JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group has completed the sale and financing of the Courtyard by Marriott Wayne Fairfield, a 122-room hotel located 20 miles from New York City.
JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group announced the completion of the sale of the Courtyard by Marriott Wayne Fairfield, a select-service hotel situated approximately 20 miles from New York City. The transaction involved the sale to affiliates of Concord Hospitality, with JLL representing the seller, RiverLink Hotels. Additionally, JLL secured acquisition financing for the new owner through M&T Bank.
The hotel, built in 2018, consists of four stories and offers a variety of guestroom options, including 73 standard king rooms, 36 standard two-queen rooms, 7 extended two-queen rooms, 4 king suites, and 2 queen suites. Amenities available to guests include an indoor pool, a fitness center, and 1,587 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate up to 120 banquet guests. The on-site Bistro restaurant offers breakfast and dinner, featuring American cuisine and a full bar.
Located at 263 US Highway 46, the property is adjacent to Willowbrook Mall and provides access to major transportation routes, including Routes 23, 80, 287, and the Garden State Parkway. The hotel is positioned near universities, corporate headquarters, and recreational facilities such as MetLife Stadium and American Dream Mall, attracting both business and leisure travelers.
Wayne, New Jersey, where the hotel is located, has a population of approximately 55,000 and is close to multiple airports, including Teterboro Airport (14 miles), Newark International Airport (24 miles), and LaGuardia Airport (28 miles). The township is also 23 miles from Port Newark-Elizabeth, a significant containerized shipping port.
