Conrad Hotels & Resorts has opened its first location in Germany with the launch of Conrad Hamburg in the Levantehaus building.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in Germany, Conrad Hamburg, located in the historic Levantehaus building. The hotel features 283 guest rooms and suites, situated in the heart of Hamburg’s Kunstmeile, or Art Mile. The Levantehaus, an Art Nouveau structure, was designed by architects Franz Bach and Carl Bensel and dates back to 1912.

The hotel spans the second to eighth floors of the Levantehaus and features a collection of works by contemporary German artists. Among the installations is a colored leaded glass ceiling by Ada Isensee, visible from all floors.

Conrad Hamburg offers 283 accommodations, including 28 studios with kitchenettes and 29 suites. The largest suite, the Presidential Suite, covers 232 square meters and includes a private balcony and fireplace. The hotel also features a 1,000-square-meter spa and fitness area, which will include Hamburg’s longest indoor pool, a sauna, and a steam bath.

The hotel provides nine event spaces, including flexible conference areas that can accommodate up to 220 guests. An executive lounge is also available.

The hotel’s restaurant, GRETA OTO, serves Latin American cuisine and can accommodate up to 110 guests, with an additional 48 seats available on a courtyard terrace. The menu features South American dishes, including Peruvian ceviche and Brazilian beef tenderloin. A private dining area, La Mesa, is available for up to 12 guests.

Conrad Hamburg is situated near Hamburg’s City Hall, the Alster Lakes, and the HafenCity district, including the Elbphilharmonie. The hotel is accessible from Hamburg Central Station and the airport. The address is Bugenhagenstraße 8, 20095 Hamburg, Germany.
