Corinthia Rome has opened its doors on Piazza del Parlamento, occupying a restored neoclassical palazzo formerly associated with the Bank of Italy. The property, which marks Corinthia Hotels’ debut in Italy, features 60 rooms, including 21 suites, and is owned by Reuben Brothers. This is the second hotel operated by Corinthia Hotels for Reuben Brothers.

The building, designed by Pio and Marcello Piacentini and constructed between 1913 and 1921, underwent a restoration led by design studio GA. The restoration returned the structure to its original proportions, removing later additions and revealing original mosaics, stuccoes, cornices, painted ceilings, and marble details. The project preserved the building’s architectural integrity, including its original 1920s frescoes.

The hotel’s art collection was curated by VISTO and features works by Italian artists such as Elisa Grezzani, Francesca Longhini, Alice Faloretti, and Maddalena Negrone. The collection includes both preparatory sketches and finished pieces, displayed throughout the property.

The former Council Chamber, overlooking Palazzo Montecitorio, has been converted into the Theodoli Heritage Suite. This suite retains original frescoes by Giulio Bargellini and a ceiling by Guglielmo Janni, which depicts an allegorical map of Italian currency.

Corinthia Rome includes three dining venues curated by chef Carlo Cracco in his first Roman project. Viride offers contemporary Italian cuisine with an interior garden view. Piazzetta and Ocra Bar provide additional dining and social spaces within the hotel.

The hotel’s accommodations are designed as private residences within the historic building, featuring high ceilings, large windows, and restored architectural details paired with contemporary furnishings. Suites include the duplex Campo Marzio Suites, the Chigi Suite with a rooftop terrace, the Arte Suite, and the Aurea Penthouse, which is inspired by the Domus Aurea.

A subterranean spa, located in the building’s original vault, is inspired by Roman bathing rituals. The spa offers treatments developed in collaboration with Seed to Skin and 111Skin London, including The Chrysalis and Reverse Signature Facial.

Room rates at Corinthia Rome start at €1,300, inclusive of VAT but excluding breakfast. Suites start from €2,100, inclusive of VAT and breakfast. Reservations are available from February 2026. An Easter package is available from 1 to 12 April 2026 and includes daily breakfast for two, early check-in, late check-out, a room upgrade, subject to availability, a welcome Easter amenity, and a hotel credit of €100 per room per stay.
