This is not a drill! Just in time for summer, the Costco food court has released a new fruit smoothie featuring two of the season’s most popular flavors. According to a user on Reddit, the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is the newest addition to the warehouse’s food court.
In a photo shared on Reddit, Costco notes that the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is made with real fruit and does not feature any artificial flavors or colors. The beverage will cost shoppers $2.99 and comes in at 250 calories.

“It was good! Way better than the strawberry banana but not as good as the fruit smoothie in my opinion. I’m not sure if all Costco locations are getting it,” they wrote.
Although several Redditors expressed their excitement for the “amazing,” new smoothie, others felt that the warehouse is taking a step backwards with its selection of smoothies.
“Downward spiral of cheaper ingredients. It was berry smoothie, then strawberry banana smoothie, now strawberry lemonade. Definitely not worth $3. The food court really has gone downhill a lot over the past 5 years. Gone are the gelato, and the plump chicken bakes. Sad,” one person wrote.
“Cheaper to make by a lot. More water, less fruit,” another user added.
If you are hoping to cool down this summer with a Frozen Strawberry Lemonade, you’re in luck because according to at least one person, the new smoothie will be rolled out nationwide.
“I saw in some emails a few weeks ago that this was coming to the food court, so I’m assuming it’s going to be a national rollout,” they shared.
Are you looking forward to trying the food court’s Frozen Strawberry Lemonade or is the new smoothie a pass?
