You’re not really an adult until you get your first Costco membership, and I’m proud to report that my partner and I have finally joined the club. That’s right, friends. Yours truly is officially a card-carrying Costco club member, and I can’t believe how much I’ve been missing. It’s not that I’ve never been inside of the behemoth warehouse before—my mom used to have a membership—but there’s something about having your own that you can’t really put a price on. Plus, at only $65 for a year (about $5.40 a month), it pays for itself in no time.

It’s easy to see the appeal. A legendary food court, incredible gas prices, better per-unit prices than most major super stores and amazing deals on furniture and clothing all under one roof. What more could you ask for? The biggest draw, though, is definitely the bakery, and as a recent convert, I can confirm it’s tragically delicious. This past weekend, they were sampling those iconic blueberry muffins, and after tasting them, my partner was immediately sold.

Although we still have some acclimating to do ourselves, superfans have been giving us plenty to feast our eyes on, and according to @costco.so.obsessed, it looks like we might have something else to look forward to on our next trip to the larger-than-life retailer’s bakery section. Just in time for Easter, the fan-favorite grocer added a new Carrot Cake Bar with Cream Cheese Frosting to their grab-and-go refrigerators, and fans are saying they look so good.
This massive 2-pound, 9-ounce cake bar features layers of moist carrot cake, slightly tangy cream cheese frosting and a dusting of toasted walnuts on top for crunch. To top it all off, this Easter brunch-ready dessert will only set you back $18.99, which works out to about $2.37 per person if you cut it into eight equal slices. We can see why people are “drooling.”
