When it comes to top tier summer treats, the iconic Strawberry Shortcake frozen ice cream bar is easily at the top of the list. The summer staple, which is sold by the likes of Good Humor and Blue Bunny, features strawberry and vanilla ice cream coated with decadent cake crumbles. And just when we thought this iconic frozen treat couldn’t get any better, Costco has introduced a bite size version of the snack.
In a post uploaded to Reddit this week, one user shared that the warehouse is now selling Strawberry Shortcake Bites. Inspired by the frozen ice cream bars, the Strawberry Shortcake Bites are described as a “shortbread cookie with a sweet strawberry creme.” Unfortunately, the bites aren’t frozen, but Costco shoppers already have a fix for that.

“I wonder if these would be amazing on the Kirkland vanilla ice cream as a topper?” one of them asked.
“Crush them up and sprinkle them on or mix them in.. i’m going to do this,” another user added.
Whether you prefer to snack on the Strawberry Shortcake Bites by themselves or use them as an ice cream topper, one thing is certain: they’re delicious enough to potentially ruin swimsuit season.
“I could have gone my whole life without knowing these existed. So much for my summer beach body!” one Redditor wrote.
“Glad I didn’t pick it up bc it will definitely sabotage my diet,” someone else chimed in.
And if Strawberry Shortcake isn’t quite your thing—we’ll try and reserve judgement—the bites also come in other flavors.
“The thin mint ones were unreal. Can’t wait to try these,” one Redditor revealed.
