Costco's Sturdy New Bookshelf Is So Stunning, Shoppers are Buying 2 at a Time

22 June 20253 Mins Read

When it comes to giving your space a nice little upgrade, it may be easy to want to spend all of your duckets on curating the right aesthetic. Of course, high-end brands like Crate & Barrel, Arhaus, Perigold and more are all great places to find stunning designs, usually, retailers like these come with a price point that will make you grimace. If you’re looking to save a buck or two when shopping for designer-like brands, however, that’s where places like Costco come in.

Anyone who holds a Costco membership knows that the bulk warehouse retailer is known for delivering designer-adjacent and actual top notch designer brands for less. And while you technically have to pay to shop there, the yearly membership fee along with the home purchase you make will most likely still clock in to be less than the high-end item you’re looking to have find its place in your space.

So what’s the latest item found behind those huge warehouse doors that’s got shoppers going wild? It’s none other than Universal Broadmoore’s Zealand 65-inch Bookshelf. Spotted by @costcohotfinds, the gorgeous new bookshelf’s arrival to the warehouse served as confirmation for the content creator that “Furniture season is starting at Costco!”

Calling it “the most beautiful” bookcase in the post’s voice over , shoppers quickly took to the comment section to agree—and to give some great ideas of what to do with it.

“This is beautiful!! I need for all my daughters LEGO creations!!” said one proud parent. “I will need two of these to hold all of my daughters books!!” said another, while others admitted, “I don’t even have books and I want it.”

According to those who have already purchased the piece though, all of the former comments come with good reasoning.

“Love. Bought 2 shelves and the matching desk,” one person said in a review on Costco’s site. “I ordered two! The bookshelf looks just like the picture. It’s sturdy and goes well with my furniture,” said another.

While the look of the bookshelf is what has everyone going wild, those who are looking to grab this shelf—which is spotted for $379.99 in @costcohotfinds’ location—can look forward to its sturdiness as a main factor to grab this up. Each 65-inch shelf features rubberwood solids with acacia veneers, four storage shelves an x-brace on the back for added support and, according to the brand, is “crafted with durable materials for years of use and enjoyment.”
