Kenny Chesney had some “amazing” news for fans following a very “magical” run of his residency at the Las Vegas Sphere this summer, but not everybody was as thrilled as he was by the announcement.
Taking to Instagram with a personal video on Sunday, June 22, Chesney revealed, “Hey everybody, we just finished our last show at Sphere here this summer. I wanna thank you guys for all the love, the energy, the passion, for loving this music so much, and I want to let you know we’ve been invited back for next summer, summer of 26, and we’re coming. If you guys come, we’ll come. So thank you very much, we’ll see you next summer here at Sphere!”
He blew a kiss to the camera before it cut out.
“This summer at @SphereVegas was so magical. We are gonna do it again next summer in 2026,” he reiterated in the caption, promising more details to come later this year. “What a blast this was. Thanks to everyone who came to see us in Vegas. We are so grateful. Let’s do it again. KC #Summertime26 #IGoBack26.”

Reactions were undeniably mixed, with many fans around the country disappointed by the presumption that the news meant there would be no stadium tour from the “Big Star” singer next summer.
“I was looking forward to Gillette Stadium,” one admitted, sadly adding, “Guess not.”
“So no tour next year either?” another guessed. “Boooooo. Very disappointed.”
“This must be the end of tours. 😢,” someone else mourned.
“That’s sad news! Not all of us with kids can make it out there!” another pointed out, as someone else called out the pricing: “Oh, no!! The sphere is pricing out many of your followers, Kenny! I sure hope you consider some stadium shows!”
“Hope you still go on tour next year🤞🏻🤞🏻would love to make it to Vegas, but not in the budget!” someone else agreed. “It’s not sweet summer time without a KC concert🏴☠️.”
“I guess the NSN is done,” one more said dramatically. “It’s NSLV now. 😢.”
But many couldn’t wait for the second round, with celebratory comments reading, “Hell yes!!!! ❤️🔥🔥🔥,” “let’s go !!! 🧡,” and, “Yay! I will be back for sure!!”
“Can’t wait!! Ready to run it back! See you again next year! 🔥,” someone else commented.
“So amazing!!!” another agreed. “Haven’t missed a summer yet!! I will see you next summer 2026.”
