Country Music star Jelly Roll is supporting his wife, Bunnie XO, as she details their difficult journey to expanding their family. The couple has struggled to have a child, and recent health issues have Bunnie XO rethinking things.
Bunnie XO, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, got real about her IVF journey on a recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. She was brutally honest about the toll IVF’s taking on her body, saying the side effects leave her feeling like she’s “rotting from the inside out.”

The social media personality admitted that she’s currently on her second round of IVF, but it’s not going well for her. Bunnie XO revealed she’s in medical menopause and used a few choice words to describe the experience.
“It has been the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my life,” Bunnie XO said, before sharing she’s been suffering from pain, sugar crashes, cold sweats, and extreme nausea.
Part of her treatment plan includes taking the drug Lupron. Bunnie XO saw her father suffer from severe side effects from Lupron during his cancer treatments, and now that same thing is happening to her.
“I saw how my dad felt on Lupron, and now that I have actually gone through it, I feel so bad that I was not more understanding with my dad. I have almost gone to the hospital probably 10 times in the past 48 hours,” she spilled.
Bunnie XO has finished her second round of IVF treatments. The side effects have caused her so many health problems that she may not even be able to do her scheduled egg retrieval.

It’s not just the physical pain that has Bunnie XO feeling debilitated. Mentally, it has left her drained. She feels like she’s wasting her life. However, this is what she has to do if she wants to have a baby.
“I was praying today in the shower, and I was just bawling my eyes out and praying, ‘Thank you, Lord. I don’t know if I can do this. Maybe having a baby isn’t in our cards. I don’t know. I’m not a b–ch and I’m not a quitter, so we’ll figure out what the next steps are after this week,” Bunnie XO revealed.
Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, and Bunnie XO have been married since 2016. They are raising his daughter, Bailee Ann, 16, and share custody of his son Noah, 8, from Jelly Roll’s previous relationships.
