Luke Bryan didn’t let a little lost voice put an end to his and his fans’ fun last night in Arkansas.
Where most artists likely would have stopped the show when their voice started to go, the “That’s My Kind of Night” singer acknowledged the shift, pledged to push through, and even promised the entire crowd a refund over the less-than-perfect performance.
“So, I don’t give a damn,” he practically croaked into the microphone in a new video uploaded to TikTok shortly after the concert ended on Thursday, June 19. “I’m gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight, and we’re gonna keep doing the damn show, okay?”
“We’re just gonna make this what it is, okay?” he added, as fans whistled and screamed in support, while other members of the audience at his Country Song Came On Tour looked shocked.

“I don’t know why I’ve had to do this every time, but…” he added as the video cut off, with another video showing him talking about losing his voice in the same venue previously.
“I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason! It happens every time; I don’t know why. But, you guys keep showing up year after year to see me put on a show, and you know, I saw Luke Combs do this a couple years ago when he was having a weird night on stage, and I said, ‘You know what, that’s pretty cool,’” the second clip continued, referring to Combs’ once refunding his audience, too.
Fans sent “Respect to the artist ❤️” for the move, with others calling him “a class act” and “the real MVP.”
“Amazing!!! I still cannot believe he did that! ♥️♥️♥️,” another fan praised.
According to one in attendance, “you could tell he was struggling from the start,” but it’s not clear at what point in the show he made the decision. There’s also no word yet on whether his Friday night concert in Dallas will be canceled or postponed as a result.
