Creative vendors cultivate community at this upcoming Calgary pop-up market

3 September 20252 Mins Read

East Village is no longer a mostly vacant, down-and-out area of our community — it’s quickly becoming one of Calgary’s most bustling urban neighbourhoods.

In fact, this exciting pop-up event will have you smashing the easy button on a fun-filled weekend packed with street vendors and exciting offerings in an outdoor market concept.

Easy Days is a pop-up market in East Village, which will take over RiverWalk Plaza behind the Simmons building on Sept. 6.

Designed for artists, creators and makers, the market is both free to attend and will shed some much-deserved light on Calgary’s creative community.

What to expect

Easy Days first popped up in 2022, and with a couple of years of programming under its belt, it’s quickly become one of the city’s premier artisan markets.

You can expect everything from vintage clothing vendors to handmade ceramics, all accompanied by live music and performances from local Calgary-based musicians.

At Easy Days, supporting small businesses and local vendors is easy as pie. Plus, they’ll have an additional few events coming to this year’s River Hall on Sept. 12 and Sunalta on Sept. 27.

Attendees to past events are quick to point out the large array of awesome vendors and goods available at Easy Days, so be sure to bring your wallet.

With picturesque weather on the forecast for the remainder of the month, it’ll be one last chance to enjoy Calgary’s outdoors before holing up for a cozy winter.

We can’t wait for the next big shindig!

When: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025
Time: 12 to 5 p.m.
Location: RiverWalk Plaza — north of 632 Confluence Way SE.
Cost: Free
