Critical Role’s The Mighty Nein looks like a worthy Vox Machina spinoff

2 October 20251 Min Read

Critical Role fans who can somehow stop thinking for a second about the upcoming debut of Campaign 4 on Oct. 2 will also remember that, on Nov. 19, The Mighty Nein is set to premiere on Prime Video. If you can’t wait for the release of the animated adaptation of Campaign 2, then these first-look images will whet your appetite just enough to make the wait more bearable.

After the success of Vox Machina, which adapted Campaign 1 into an animated series, Critical Role returns with a new cartoon focused on the adventures of The Mighty Nein — the band of adventurers that filled the void left by Grog, Scanlan, Vax, Vex, and all the other characters from Vox Machina during Critical Role’s Campaign 2.

In the gallery below, you can enjoy a first look at the defenders of Wildemount as they get ready for their debut on Prime Video.

If you thought that Vox Machina was wild and unpredictable, then you’d better get ready for a lot more shenanigans, magical mayhem, romance, drama, and exciting adventures when The Mighty Nein debuts on Prime Video on Nov. 19.
