Crocs Are a Summer 2026 Staple, and Walmart's 90s Throwback Platform Style Is 40% Off Right Now

It’s the summer of Crocs, and we’re totally here for it. From beach-ready staple slides to jewel-adorned new releases and the brand’s viral take on balletcore, there’s no denying that Crocs are the must-have shoe for summer 2026. Adding to the current wave of popularity, there’s a pair of Crocs on sale at Walmart right now with a nostalgic 90s-inspired twist. Chunky platform shoes were a massive staple of 1990s fashion, and Crocs’ take on the trend evokes the look of popular styles reminiscent of iconic 90s brands like Steve Madden and shoes worn by the Spice Girls, but with a comfort-first design you can wear pretty much anywhere.

Normally $60, the Crocs Baya Platform Clog slip-ons are now over 40% off, meaning you can snag select colors for as low as $35. They’re currently on sale in black, white, and brown, with a cream version available at full price. Want to add even more nostalgic glam to your look? You can grab the sparkly pink or purple versions on sale for $45. Select sizes are already out of stock in brown and cream, and four additional colors are already completely sold out, so you’ll want to hurry to snag a discounted pair.

Adding a thick, elevated sole to Crocs’ classic Baya clog silhouette gives it a 90s throwback aesthetic that you’re going to want to add to your shoe collection ASAP. Designed for comfort and durability, these clogs are made from lightweight ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) foam with a molded foam footbed that absorbs the impact of your steps to reduce joint pressure and foot fatigue. Flip the pivoting heel strap up to slip these clogs on quickly or rotate it back to ensure a secure fit.

These clogs are fully waterproof, making them an excellent choice for summer activities like beach trips, waterpark visits, and poolside wear. They’re also versatile enough to wear while transitioning your wardrobe into the fall season, with grippy outsoles that provide ample traction on wet or leafy sidewalks. Available in whole sizes 4 through 11, shoppers said these clogs run true to size.

Walmart customers with foot woes like plantar fasciitis and those recovering from ligament and ankle surgeries called these clogs “very comfortable.” Several people raved about how “supportive” and “lightweight” they feel while still looking “stylish.” One reviewer even mentioned that “the heel lift fit is great for people with lower back problems.”

Of course, these clogs also feature the key attribute that sets Crocs apart from other shoes — Jibbitz! There are multiple spots across the top of these shoes where you can add Crocs’ signature decorative shoe charms, if you want to give your clogs a personal touch.
