IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Crowne Plaza Katowice in Poland, set for 2026.
IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its presence in Poland with the addition of a new hotel, Crowne Plaza Katowice, slated to open in 2026. This development is in collaboration with DL Invest (Landlord) and Hotel & More (Tenant and Franchisee).
The new property will be located on Katowice Central Highway, adjacent to Silesia City, the largest shopping mall in the region. This location is strategically chosen for its proximity to major transportation links and local attractions, including the Katowice International Congress Centre and Spodek Arena. The site is also well-served by public transport, enhancing accessibility for international and domestic visitors.
Crowne Plaza Katowice will feature 178 guest rooms distributed across six floors. The hotel will offer a variety of amenities, including a restaurant, a lobby café, and extensive meeting and event spaces. These facilities are designed to cater to both large business conferences and smaller, more private gatherings.
This new addition will join Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB as the second Crowne Plaza property in Poland. It is part of a broader expansion within Europe, where Crowne Plaza currently operates 90 hotels and has an additional 17 properties under development.
