Dallas Cowboys Star, 26, Sweetly Calls Coach to Say Goodnight: ‘I Just Thought He Missed Me'

14 June 20252 Mins Read

Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons just wanted to say goodnight.

The 26-year-old NFL defensive end recently jumped on a social media trend where men call friends or relatives just to say goodnight. Parsons called Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer, who didn’t know the late-night phone call was actually a prank.

Video shared to social media of Parsons’ call reveals the sneaky call turned sweet thanks to the Cowboys’ coach’s kind demeanor. Parsons, who has been immersed in a bitter contract negotiation with the team, received kind support from his coach. Schottenheimer commended Parsons for how he’s handled the tension surrounding his contract while affirming the Cowboys star player has a bright future with the team. Parsons grinned from ear to ear as his coach sang his praises.
