Factory Theatre has announced its fall 2026 programming, curated by outgoing artistic director Mel Hague and the theatre’s interim leadership team. The lineup features a production starring David Suzuki, the world premiere of Lester Trips’ Provisions, and the return of Holiday! An Improvised Musical.

In addition to its lineup of full productions, Factory will host work-in-progress presentations of Provisions and Ghost River Theatre and Macromatter’s Soft Squishy Things in its Studio Theatre during the SummerWorks Performance Festival, running from August 6 to 16.

Along with Theatre Passe Muraille, Factory will be a venue for the seventh edition of Aluna Theatre’s RUTAS International Festival of Performance from September 24 to October 4.

“We’re so proud to be sharing this season alongside such excellent partners, offering such a delectable variety of work to our audiences. We can’t wait to see you all at the theatre,” wrote associate artistic director Kalale Dalton-Lutale, who is part of Factory’s interim leadership team, in a press release.

The lineup of full productions is listed below.

Provisions

Written and performed by Lauren Gillis and Alaine Hutton
A Lester Trips production in association with Factory Theatre
November 13 to 29

Set in an abandoned factory on the moon, this body-horror work follows a contractor tasked with recovering the cast, crew, and data from a failed reality television production. The production concludes Lester Trips’ trilogy of Factory Theatre premieres, following Honey I’m Home and Public Consumption.

Holiday! An Improvised Musical

Created and directed by Jan Caruana
A Bad Dog Theatre production in association with Factory Theatre
