Four Seasons recently announced the appointment of Diego Angarita as General Manager of the new luxury resort, Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort. This Gulf Coast property, owned and developed by Athens Group and BDT & MSD Partners, L.P., is set to open in fall 2025.
Angarita steps into his role with over two decades of experience with Four Seasons. His responsibilities will include overseeing the resort’s 215 accommodations, which comprise of 47 suites, 58 luxury condominiums in three beachside residential buildings, and 95 luxury condominiums in five golf course residential buildings.
Born in Colombia and raised in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Angarita has been associated with the hotel industry from a young age, following his father’s hotel assignments. He studied hospitality at the University of Nevada—Las Vegas and secured an internship with Four Seasons, a company he has remained with ever since.
Angarita’s journey at Four Seasons began at the Front Desk in Punta Mita. He then moved to housekeeping management in the Bahamas and a role as Director of Rooms in Las Vegas. After a successful stint in Hualalai, Hawaii, he was promoted to Resort Manager in Anguilla during its reflagging to Four Seasons. He later served as Hotel Manager in Los Angeles, earning the property its Five-Star rating from Forbes Travel Guide. He now moves to Naples after leading the Anguilla Resort to two Five-Star ratings.
Antoine Chahwan, Four Seasons President, Hotel Operations – Americas, praised Angarita’s extensive experience, stating that he is the ideal leader for their newest location on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Angarita’s deep involvement in the property’s development ensures an exceptional Four Seasons experience for guests, Chahwan noted.
The Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, will feature a private members’ club, a world-class spa, a racquet sports facility, and a newly designed 18-hole golf course by Fazio Golf Design.
