Dorchester Collection will undertake a major restoration of Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, described as one of the most significant investments in the property’s history. The hotel will temporarily close on 1 January 2027 and is expected to reopen in 2029 following completion of the project.
The restoration will include significantly enlarged guestrooms and suites, a limited collection of private residences, a spa and wellness destination, new dining options, and a rooftop venue overlooking Milan’s skyline.
Hotel Principe di Savoia opened in 1927. The restoration is intended to prepare the property for its next century while maintaining its character and introducing new elements to the guest experience.
