Hilton has signed an agreement to open a new DoubleTree hotel in Madrid’s Salamanca neighborhood by late 2026.
Hilton has announced plans to expand its presence in Spain with the signing of a new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Madrid. The DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara is set to open in the Salamanca neighborhood by late 2026. This development follows a franchise agreement with Key International, with Panoram Hotel Management set to manage the property.
The new hotel will feature 155 guest rooms, including various configurations such as king, queen, twin, single rooms, and suites. The facility will also include a bar, restaurant, fitness center, and 14 meeting rooms, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
The Salamanca neighborhood is renowned for its residential areas, diverse dining options, and vibrant shopping venues. The hotel will be situated near several of Madrid’s landmarks, including the Auditorio Nacional de Música, Plaza de Cibeles, Prado Museum, and Retiro Park. The location is also approximately a 15-minute drive from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
This project marks Hilton’s continued expansion in Spain, where it currently operates 44 hotels, with an additional 10 properties in development. In Madrid, Hilton operates eight hotels, with two more in the pipeline. The DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara will be the second DoubleTree property in the city, joining the DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Prado.
