Hilton announces the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square
Hilton is bolstering its presence in Northern Ireland with the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion across the region. The announcement was made in partnership with the Loughview Leisure Group, with whom Hilton has a franchise agreement.
The hotel in the Linen Quarter adjacent to Belfast City Hall will undergo a multi-million-pound refurbishment before its official affiliation with the Hilton brand later this year. The property boasts 131 guest rooms and suites, including the Jaffe Penthouse, many offering views of the city and surrounding hills.
The location is ideal for tourists looking to explore Belfast’s rich history, such as the Titanic Belfast, the iconic site where the legendary ship was constructed. The hotel is also conveniently situated just an 11-minute drive from George Best Belfast City Airport and 30 minutes from Belfast International Airport, making it an excellent choice for international travelers.
DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square features a variety of dining and leisure facilities. The Linen Bar, a nod to Belfast’s past as a global center for linen production, merges historic charm with modern design. Additional dining options include The Doffer, a stylish tap room, and Jospers Steakhouse. The Loft Lounge, a rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace, offers unparalleled city views.
Belfast is recognized as one of the fastest-growing knowledge economies globally, and it is known for its technology, research, and innovation centers. Housing over 1,000 major international digital, financial, and science-focused companies, the city has become a prime destination for business travel. With four versatile meeting rooms, DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square is ideal for conferences and events.
In 2023, overseas tourism to Northern Ireland generated £672 million in revenue, accounting for more than half of all visitor spending, further underscoring Belfast’s rising status as a key destination for business and leisure travel.
This development is part of Hilton’s ongoing expansion in Northern Ireland. It follows the recent signings of DoubleTree by Hilton Derry-Londonderry and The Marcus Hotel Portrush, both scheduled to open later this year.
Graham Dodd, Managing Director, Development, UK & Ireland, Hilton, hailed the signing as a significant milestone in Hilton’s growing presence across Northern Ireland. He expressed excitement about welcoming guests to this new location and continuing to work with the Loughview Leisure Group to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Guests at DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square can also benefit from Hilton Honors, an award-winning loyalty program offering various benefits, including contactless check-in and exclusive member discounts.
