'Drag Race' Icon Crashes to the Ground in Shocking Concert Misstep

10 June 20253 Mins Read

Fans were left completely aghast after Drag Race alum Adore Delano took a dangerous spill during a recent concert performance.

In a new clip uploaded to TikTok, which appears to have been taken during Milwaukee Pride Fest earlier this month, the performer was stepping backward on the catwalk of the stage and didn’t seem to realize that she was headed right for the edge.

Her right foot slipped off the platform and sent her—and multiple lights—crashing straight to the ground several feet below, where she lay on her left side for several seconds before propping herself up, her mouth dropped open in what was surely either shock or pain—or both.

By the time help arrived, she’d already made it up to her knees. The gentleman at her side helped her to her feet as the crowd began to applaud, ultimately lifting her back up to the stage on his shoulder. She appeared to grimace as her butt landed on the stage, but she jumped right back into the performance like a true professional.

While fans were impressed with her quick recovery, the majority were more than incensed over the “ridiculous” amount of time it took for anyone to assist the performer, with the video’s uploader, named Rory, explaining that Delano had fallen behind a barricade that was only accessible by media, interpreters, and those needing accessible seating.

“Why only one person rushed to her, idk…should’ve been more saftey for the stage…regardless!!! adore delano is so gnarly. love this rockstar she popped right back up like a daisy 😱🙂‍↕️🌼,” they added in the caption.

For everyone asking why no one helped her right away: there was a barricade and only Media, interpreter’s, and handicapped could be in front of this barricade. Why only one person rushed to her, idk…should’ve been more saftey for the stage…regardless!!! adore delano is so gnarly. love this rockstar she popped right back up like a daisy 😱🙂‍↕️🌼

“The length of time it took for someone to get to her was ridiculous,” one viewer commented in frustration.

“I don’t understand how it’s not someone’s knee jerk reaction TO HELP SOMEONE THAT FELL OFF A STAGE,” another vented.

“all the equipment falling on her why is no one RUNNING towards adore,” somebody else questioned.

“that was a 6 foot fall onto concrete. that HAD to hurt. hope she doesn’t have any major injuries,” one person worried, while another emphasized, “omg I know that hurt. i hope she’s okay 😭.”

Other commenters suggested that Delano had “said she was just pretty bruised up. her ribs took most of the impact,” though Delano doesn’t appear to have addressed the injury on her own social media accounts.

One, however, tried to lighten the mood, applauding the performer as they declared, “That was so fukn punk rock.🖤😝.”
