It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but there’s something decidedly relatable about Drew Barrymore that makes her feel less like a Hollywood icon and more like someone you’d happily grab coffee with. Maybe it’s because we’ve literally watched her grow up on screen—from her breakout role in E.T. to her rom-com queen era and now as the endlessly charming host of The Drew Barrymore Show.
There’s an ease to her, like a warmth that feels refreshingly unfiltered. Clearly audiences can’t get enough—her show just keeps getting renewed because we all kind of want her in our living rooms every day. So when she gives us a peek into her actual home? It feels like a bonus hang. That’s why the video tour of her recently-listed property in New York’s Westchester County is so fascinating.

Barrymore isn’t the one taking us on the tour of the palatial home, though. It’s actually her real estate agents who show off the gorgeous property that’s steeped in history.
The actress purchased the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate just two years ago, in 2024. Back then, she paid $4.4M for the place, but after extensive renovations, she’s listed it for $4.995M.
We’re not sure what’s more awe-inspiring, all of the nature and privacy as you head down that long, winding driveway to the home, or the jaw-dropping rooms encapsulated by glass windows. Those spaces almost feel like jewelry boxes in house form.

It isn’t just about the square footage or the design details (though yes, it’s absolutely stunning). It’s about seeing how someone so famously down-to-earth creates a space that reflects both her star power and her cozy vibe.
What Did Drew Change About the House When She Moved In?
Apparently quite a bit! According to the Wall Street Journal, once Barrymore got into the home, she realized there was a lot of work to do. In fact, she likely spent more time renovating it than she did actually enjoying it, including completely redoing the kitchen in an effort to open it up more.
Despite all of the work, hopefully there were still many sunny days spent in that gorgeous heated pool. In case you were wondering, yes, there’s also a pool house as well as a guest cottage, both outfitted in the same inviting style as the main house.
This might be your sign to move to Westchester if you have roughly $5M to spend on a new home.
