Sheinelle Jones hasn’t appeared on the Today show since December, but her co-hosts are still thinking about her and wishing her the best.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dylan Dreyer said she and the other Today anchors are in close touch with Jones, who’s taking time away to deal with a “family health matter.”

“We chat with her often. A week doesn’t go by where we’re not checking in, seeing how she’s doing,” Dreyer said, adding, “We pray for her all the time, we can’t wait for her to come back, so we’re just waiting for that day to come.”
Carson Daly agreed that he and his co-hosts “talk about her probably every day.”
“I don’t know anything about when or timeline, but we always think about her,” Daly said, referring to Jone’s potential return.
Al Roker and Jenna Bush Hager also shared messages of support for Jones.
“The fact of the matter is, we’re so grateful to all the fans and viewers who’ve been praying for her and praying for her family and just taking it one day at a time,” the meteorologist said.
“The Today show is a family and we take care of each other, we love each other,” Bush Hager said.

Jones opened up about her extended absence from Today in a message shared on Instagram in January, writing, “I sincerely appreciate all of you who have reached out while I’ve been absent from the show. It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to have not only the support of my Today Show family, but to also have all of you. Your kindness means so much to me.”
