Edmonton has a “girly heaven” with over 35 local vendors and a super cutesy vibe

16 June 20253 Mins Read

Are you looking for something special? For somewhere to mix, mingle, and make friends?

Twice a month, every month, check out the Malla Market, an Edmonton must if you’re looking to shop, support local, chat, and have fun.

What to expect

Described as Edmonton’s largest girls’ club, Malla Market is unlike any other in the city.

From keychains to candles, clothing, clips, and snacks, these markets have a little bit of everything, but what you won’t get anywhere else is their brand of community.

Here, not only can you fill your bag with goodies, but you can also get to know the people at each booth pretty well, because it’s a recurring event and encourages togetherness.

What’s more, this market also holds book swaps and is meant for those who really care about aesthetics.

Despite having over 35 vendors, each booth is cohesive, occasionally being tied together by a common thread.

In the past, Malla has hosted coastal cowboy and Taylor Swift-themed events and likes to shake things up.

Coming soon

Interested in checking it out? This sunny season, don’t miss their Summer Social Girls Club Market, which will have a “strong focus on interactive and social workshops and features,” in addition to booths and other babes.

On July 5 and 6, July 19 and 20, and Aug. 9, 10, 23, and 24, those who check Kingsway Mall, home of Edmonton’s Malla Market, will walk into a “girly heaven.”

“Malla Market is the perfect destination for all things cutesy and pink,” they write on their Instagram.

“Imagine strolling through colorful booths, sipping on sweet treats, and discovering fabulous pieces.”

With a charm bar, beauty bar with flash tattoos and permanent jewellery, dirty soda shop, a bake sale, and fresh flowers, it’s sure to be an enchanting experience.

Just show up between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday or 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, wear comfortable shoes and consider showing up early as the first 20 shoppers in line to get your hands on free swag.

Have fun, Edmonton!

You never know what you’ll find or who you might run into.

When: Saturday and Sunday, July 5, 6, 9 and 20, and Aug. 9, 10, 23, and 24, 2025
Time:  Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
