Edmonton’s premier haunted house experience is back for more terror

13 September 20252 Mins Read

Are you ready to get spooked this season?

Deadmonton is one of Edmonton’s best haunted house experiences, and it’s back for its 12th year of scares.

This year, the spooks are taking place in the historic Edmonton Sun building, featuring three all-new haunting experiences. Get scared by actors walking through the halls and scream your heart out! You aren’t ready for the scares about to come your way.

What to expect

There are three new haunts this year to experience at Deadmonton: the House of Madam Tortura, Danse Macabre, and Biogen Organics: The Human Experiment. The House of Madam Tortura and Biogen Organics: The Human Experiment are the two indoor attractions for this year, while Danse Macabre is outdoors.

For the first few weeks of the season, the outdoor attraction will not open until sunset. You may have to wait for Danse Macabre to open, so while you wait, you can enjoy food, beverages, and entertainment in common areas.

Tickets can be found online on Deadmonton’s website, with regular admission starting at $74.99. Those not interested in waiting in the possibly long lines can purchase a speed pass admission for $99.99.

If you aren’t interested in being paired up with another group, Deadmonton is also offering Date Night on Oct. 5.

This exclusive experience gives guests the opportunity to go through all three haunted houses with their group alone. There will also be more time between groups, reducing the risk of running into any other groups and allowing guests to experience a slower, more intimate setting. Limited tickets are available, and this is a one-night-only opportunity, so don’t miss out!

Are you ready for the spooky season’s most anticipated event?

When: Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, to Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025
Where: 9300 47th St., Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $74.99+
