The Toronto Tempo is already a popular team in the WNBA, and it is only season one. So much so that ESPN is announcing a new documentary series on the rise of the team and Ryan Reynolds is involved.
Setting the Tempo is a four-part ESPN Originals production that will go behind the scenes of one of the biggest moments in Toronto sports—the launch of the city’s first WNBA franchise.
And there are some great names attached to it.
The series includes an all-star lineup of executive producers, including tennis legend Serena Williams, actor Ryan Reynolds, basketball executive Masai Ujiri and Lilly Singh.
