'Euphoria' Star Snaps At Paparazzi During Heated Exchange in Paris: 'You Make it Really Hard For Me to Live'

Jacob Elordi, the 28-year-old Australian actor best known for his roles on HBO’s Euphoria and the most recent adaptation of Frankenstein, had a tense response to paparazzi members in Paris earlier this week.

In a recent video shared on Instagram, Elordi was spotted venturing through the City of Light while trying to remain incognito. Before very long, however, a photographer wound up spotting the Kissing Booth actor, snapping his photo and yelling, “Jacob, we love you.”

As the paparazzi continued taking pictures, Elordi removed one of his headphones and remarked to the photographer, “You make it really hard for me to live.”

When the photographer once again remarked, “We love you,” the 28-year-old actor commented, “I don’t love you,” leading him to repeat, “You make it really hard for me to live.”

The exchange comes a few short months after a similarly viral exchange centered around the up-and-coming young actor. Earlier this year, Elordi took center stage at the Venice Film Festival after telling an organization official, “Don’t ever tell me what to do,” while posing for photos and signing fan autographs (per People magazine).

In the past, Elordi has spoken about the struggles of dealing with fame, likening his celebrity status to 1998’s The Truman Show.

“The Internet is insane. It was so frightening,” Elordi said on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast of his meteoric rise in the entertainment industry.

“I could feel the Internet manifesting in the real world,” he went on to say. “Like, I would go out to my coffee shop, and all of a sudden I felt like I was in The Truman Show.”

With some of his past work including The Kissing Booth franchise and Saltburn, Elordi is set to return for the long-awaited third season of HBO’s Euphoria in 2026. He’s also slated to star in Saltburn director Emerald Fennell’s new adaptation of Wuthering Heights alongside Margot Robbie.
