Event (Edmonton): Power in Pink: Women Leading Out Loud – Citadel Theatre, Theater News

4 July 20252 Mins Read

On Wednesday, July 16, join us for Power in Pink: Women Leading Out Loud, an evening hosted by the Citadel Theatre and inspired by Legally Blonde The Musical.

Hear from a panel of accomplished women in Edmonton’s business, law and non-profit sectors as they share stories of leadership, resilience, and authenticity.

Tickets: $95 (includes entry to the panel discussion, light refreshments from Art of Charcuterie, one drink ticket, and one performance ticket to the showing of LEGALLY BLONDE that evening at 7:30pm).
Purchase your tickets at https://citadeltheatre.com/shows/power-in-pink-women-leading-out-loud/

This event explores the journey to confident leadership – tackling self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and the courage to defy expectations. Whether you’re climbing the ladder, pivoting careers, or forging your own path as an entrepreneur, connect with peers who understand what it means to rise above being underestimated.

Joining us will be Ashlyn Bernier (COO, samdesk), Linda Hoang (Social Media Strategist, @Lindork), Christine Pratt (Partner, Field Law), and Constance Scarlett (President & CEO, TELUS World of Science). The event will be moderated by Julia Pratt (Associate Lawyer, Neuman Thompson) and hosted by Citadel Theatre’s Executive Director, Jessie van Rijn.

Let’s celebrate ambition and community, and ask – as Elle did – “What, like it’s hard?”

💗 Dress to Impress 💗
Get ready to bend and snap in style! 💅✨ Join us for Legally Blonde: The Musical and show off your Elle Woods energy with your best pink-forward fashion. From blush to hot pink, sequins to power suits – think bold, confident, and unapologetically fabulous. 🎀👠Whether you’re rocking a slick streetwear set, a glam cocktail dress, or your fiercest fuchsia fit, it’s time to strut your stuff and celebrate the power of pink. 💖🌸

Presented in partnership with the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, the Edmonton Downtown Business Association, Explore Edmonton and the Citadel Theatre.
