A few days after the launch of Meghan Markle‘s new docuseries With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix, a popular fast food chain is responding to a surprise mention on the show.
In the second episode of the series, Markle talked with guest Mindy Kaling about her childhood and history of eating from fast food chains, with Markle saying that she “grew up with fast food and TV tray dinners, microwavable kids’ meals,” describing herself as a “latchkey kid.”

Markle went on, calling out specific chains as she told Kaling that she “grew up with that and watching Jeopardy! and having a lot of fast food—Taco Bell, Jack in the Box.”
In response, Kaling joked, “People wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box.”
Jack in the Box has since posted a reaction to the surprise mention from the 43-year-old. On March 4, the restaurant’s official Instagram account reposted a clip of the scene from With Love, Meghan with the brand mascot, Jack Box, standing in front nodding and making a celebratory gesture.

“Eat like royalty with my 2 tacos. With love, Jack Box,” read the caption.
Fans also cheered on the mention, with comments like, “JIB for the win! ❤️,” and “I love you jack, i will be faithful and loyal to you, forever ❤️❤️❤️.”
A third wrote, “JITB 🌮🌮&🍔🍔 IS WAY BETTER THAN ROYALTY FOOD. ITS HEAVENLY 😋😇.”
Markle has touched on her family’s love of fast food in the past, saying in an interview with Variety that In-N-Out is “my husband’s favorite.”
“There’s one at the halfway point between L.A. and our neck of the woods. It’s really fun to go through the drive-thru and surprise them. They know our order,” she added.
