Fan-Favorite Pro to Join 'DWTS' Live Tour

1 March 20262 Mins Read

Rylee Arnold will be joining Dancing With The Stars live on tour!

The 20-year-old shared via Instagram on Sunday, March 1 that she will be joining the tour cast from March 6 to 20, noting she’s already learned 14 dances in two days.

Arnold will be filling in for pros Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Britt Stewart, and Brandon Armstrong who will all miss upcoming tour dates to participate in an undisclosed project.

However, the pros won’t all be absent at the same time. Armstrong is set to step away from March 3–10, followed by Stewart (March 6–13), Johnson (March 11–17) and Karagach (March 14–20).

The dancers didn’t announce what the upcoming project is, however, it’s likely the new spin-off series to find the next DWTS pro dancer.

Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro will feature up-and-coming professional dancers who will live in a house together while competing for a spot as a pro dancer on the next season of Dancing With the Stars.

According to Variety, season 34 champ Robert Irwin is in talks to host the series, which is being filmed in Australia. Mark Ballas and his mom, Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, are rumored to be judges.

Last fall, Arnold revealed she wouldn’t be a full-time cast member on this year’s tour due to her diabetes.

“So sad I won’t be on the DWTS tour this year,” she said on her Instagram Story in October. “Being on tour the last two years was seriously the most amazing experience ever. I’ve made the best memories and met the best people!!”

“This year I had to make the hard decision to sit it out and focus on my health, especially with managing my Type 1 diabetes which can be tricky on the road,” she continued. “I’m gonna miss it SO much but I’ll definitely be cheering everyone on and can’t wait to come watch!!”

Arnold was first diagnosed with diabetes at age 15, and has frequently shared her journey with the illness on social media platforms.
