As Morgan Wallen made his second appearance on Saturday Night Live on March 29, fans called the country star “disrespectful” for his actions as the episode wrapped.
As the cast bid everyone goodnight and the credits started rolling, Wallen shared a hug with host Mikey Madison and abruptly walked off the stage, passing by the main camera. He didn’t appear to speak with any SNL cast members before leaving.

This led many others to share their thoughts on the move, with most agreeing with the original poster.
“SNL was phenomenal last night except for Morgan Wallen,” said one person, who went on to claim the singer was “noticeably sour” and “both performances were angry and weird.” They concluded by calling the credits move “disrespectful.”
Someone else called his appearance on the show a “terrible booking,” as another joked, “I have never seen the cast so far behind a guest during the outro 😭😂😂.”
But there were also a few people who felt like the fan’s response was too intense, such as one who said, “this is such a random thing to be angry at.”
In 2020, Wallen was invited to appear on the show as a musical guest, but the invite was rescinded after he was seen partying without a mask at the height of COVID-19. He went on to made his debut on the show just two months later.
