Tiger Woods threw his fans for a loop with his latest update, as the golf star confirmed that he was dating Vanessa Trump before requesting privacy.
The 49-year-old took to X to share official photos of himself with Vanessa on March 23, writing, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.”

The caption continued, “At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.” In the first photo, Woods and Vanessa stood side by side smiling at the camera, while the second snap showed the couple relaxing on a hammock.

Fans were stunned by the announcement, with many confused by Woods’ decision to share the news and personal photos right before requesting privacy. Others highlighted the fact that his new girlfriend is a well-known public figure due to her connection to the Trump family.
“Tiger asking for privacy for dating Don Jr ex wife is an all time ridiculous request,” said one such fan, as another called Woods’ note “One of the most confusing captions of all-time.”
Another joked that Woods was saying, “Look at my relationship! Stop looking at my relationship!” A similar comment read, Posts publicly ✅ Asks for privacy ✅ Very strange caption here by the 🐐.”
There were also some straightforward supporters mixed in who congratulated the couple and wished them well.
Vanessa, 47, is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. They were married from 2005 to 2018 and share two children, Kai Trump and Donald Trump III. As for Woods, his last serious relationship was with Erica Herman, whom he dated from 2017 to 2022. He also shares two children, Charlie and Sam, with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
