Cody Johnson recently reminded folks that his shows are a family-friendly event when a group of attendees broke into a fight at one of his concerts. The country star didn’t hesitate to call over security to throw out the rebels who were causing a scene.
The moment happened over the weekend at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, as part of a two-night stint on Johnson’s headlining Leather Deluxe Tour. A video shared on TikTok shows a group of people pulling on one another and falling to the floor as onlookers appear to either record the scene or wait patiently for it to end.

“That’s alright. We’ve got all night,” Johnson says over the microphone on Saturday (June 21) in the video below.
“I mean this is not a Travis Scott concert….” he continues. “There are kids in the crowd. There are all kinds of things in here that that doesn’t need to happen.”
As Johnson continues to chat with the crowd, he points out that security has made their way to the pit area to remove those bringing drama to the show.
“There we go, there’s the police officers,” Johnson says, to which the CoJo nation responds with cheers for the police and boos for the brawlers.
Ironically, the scuffle happened after Johnson’s performance of “God Bless America” according to one TikTok user, who captioned, “And to start fighting after ‘God Bless America’ was willlddd.”
Other folks were amused by Johnson’s mention of Travis Scott with one writing, “We laughed so hard at the Travis comment.”
Another person added, “He handled that situation so well. I love me some CoJo.”
“The Travis comment had me and my girl dying,” a third follower captioned beneath the clip.
Johnson’s first installment of his two-night San Antonio run that ran from June 20 to June 21 was a sold-out success. The Leather Deluxe Tour in support of his deluxe version of the album of the same name, launched at the top of the year. Johnson has a running list of shows scheduled throughout 2025.
